I visited a person who had a huge bunch of rosemary hanging up in her kitchen. Was she a white witch?

Yeah I know I'll get funny answers, but I read that white witches hang it up for some reason or another. Gave me the creeps.

I visited a person who had a huge bunch of rosemary hanging up in her kitchen. Was she a white witch?
maybe she likes dried herbs or the smell of it
Reply:Well a culinary herb hanging in a kitchen is not exactly out of place is it. Hate to disappoint you but she most likely uses it in cooking.
Reply:Are you hiding something...you said that you visited a "person" but you did'nt say if the person was male or female. No males are classed as witches..they are called warlocks and so it was a woman that you visited and when you saw her hanging up rosemary you assumed she was a white witch. A woman knocked on my door one day and asked me if I would buy a little bunch of heather for just 5p. There is a myth that if you did'nt buy, the woman would curse you. I dont believe those myths but I bought the heather. Was she a witch or a gypsy.
Reply:rosemary protects from negativity and evil energies,

Wiccans aren't the only people that use herbal remedies.

But she could be, I've seen christians, buddhists, muslims, hindues,

adn all sorts of religion hang herbs up for differant reasons,

Why don't you ask her?
Reply:Maybe she prefers to dry her own rosemary - saves money if she is growing it herself.

Or she could be a white witch and why does this bother you so much?

Just as well you werent about in the days of witch hunting - i bet a few women would have ended up on trial because of you!!!
Reply:You are obviously not a country person, you see a few culinary herbs, and cry WITCH !
Reply:Did you ask her? Could just be some herbs she's drying for a vegetable stew!?
Reply:She could be, but rosemary smells lovely and people hang up herbs for many different reasons. A rosemary isn't the way of picking out who is a witch and who isn't!

Why should a bunch of herbs give you the creeps anyway?
Reply:Rosemary is use in Wiccan for love and Protection from evil forces

But Rosemary is use for other thing to cooking is another way to it and cooking Roast Beef bring out the favorite she may not be a witch or wiccan but love her herbs I know I do if I can get my hands on some lol
Reply:As others have suggested, she may either be drying the herbs or just likes the smell (I know I love the smell [though I don't have any hanging in my house]).

I also believe that rosemary symbolizes remembrance. Perhaps it's a reminder of someone close to her who she lost.
Reply:Perhaps she was just having lamb for her tea!?
Reply:i think rosemarys are kept mostly by catholics..
Reply:now if it was garlic maybe worried don't be silly all those cooks programmes that on TV use rosemary all the thyme ....sorry couldn't resist ....if true witch wouldn't display in case got burned at stake so chill
Reply:She may have been a white witch, but she might just have disliked the smell of artificial air fresheners.

White witches are cool. One of my parents friends is a wiccan and she's fab (although I have been told she has eerily good luck at dice and card games and warned not to gamble with her).
Reply:It is possible but if she is a witch she is a white witch no worries man she's cool a good witch with a bad attitude twards evil!!
Reply:I think she sounds like a cook that enjoys making her own fresh herbs rather then buying seasonings.
Reply:White witch? Most witches will tell you there's no white, grey, or black.........rosemary is not bad....dont worry about it.
Reply:I grow rosemary in the backward and sweet Basil in my Kitchen. Both are hung to dry....and smell good. The only other thing that hangs from the ceiling in my kitchen it the Kitchen Witch my Daughter made for me.

She said she spelled the Kitchen Witch to make me make more good stuff than healthy stuff. So I had three dinners with Cauliflower.
Reply:There is insufficient evidence.

This is her business.
Reply:as a very supersticious/spiritual/magic person i can tell you that rosmary wards away bad vibes and negitivity.
Reply:I don't know. When you say "white witch" what do you mean? If you're defining white witch as "lady with rosemary hanging in her kitchen," then yeah.
Reply:Maybe she's just Italian.
