Is rosemary (the herb) invasive? Will it take over my vegetable garden if i put it in my veggie patch??

Rosemary is a well-behaved plant. It grows relatively slowly and doesn't spread invasively. It's easy to control through pruning.

And you don't have to worry that you will be growing rosemary-scented tomatoes or cucumbers if you grow them in your veggie patch. The scent will not attach itself to plants growing nearby.

it would not take over if you ti get for you get the right
Reply:Rosemary is a bush type plant, you can control the growth, but it is meant to grow at least 2ft wide and 3ft high, and I have seen them much bigger, but it is up to you. You can shear it into a round shape or box it off, I say it would take up as much space as a healthy tomatoe plant. Go for it, this is a very pleasant plant, and you cook with it so I think I will fit in just fine. Good Luck with your garden this year.
Reply:No. but it needs plent of sun and makes the garden smell wonderful
Reply:yes it makes a nice bush or ground cover
Reply:Rosemary is an herb with a woody stem and excellent longevity. I rooted dozens of cuttings and made a hedge with it, it's incredible. The essential oils in it are strong and it flowers lavendar. Use it fresh or dry it, it's an amazing herb.
