Does rosemary strengthen hair?

I heard that boiling fresh rosemary and rinsing it through your hair is supposed to thicken and strengthen hair...or stop it from falling out or something like that. has anyone here tried that? my hair has been falling out and i TRYING to find something to help it. so if anyones tried the rosemary thing, or has had luck with anything else, please let me know!
