Is the middle name Rosemary too much to follow a simple name like Ava?

I don't think so - I also like Ava Rose; however, if you are thinking Rosemary to be named after somebody - go for it! And it's not too much if you've got a shortish surname but having said that, if you are mainly going to refer to her as Ava, then it should not matter how long her middle name is.

Is the middle name Rosemary too much to follow a simple name like Ava?
Not at all. In fact, if you have a very short first name like Ava, I think it's best to have a longer middle name (like Rosemary!). :o) My girls have longer first names, so they have short middle names. It is not good to have first and middle names with equal lengths/syllables, so I think Ava Rosemary is perfect! Hope that helps! Take care!
Reply:Rosemary is one of my favorite names!

And with a simple - and popular - given name like Ava, it would be a mistake to go with Ava Grace or Ava Rose - there will be countless girls with that exact same name.

Ava Rosemary gives her a little bit of spark.
Reply:No, it isn't. A name like Monique Roaemary may be too much. One simple name with a name is usually best. You also wouldn't use like, Andrea Rosemary ... tooo many syllables in both names.
Reply:Ava is a short name, while Rosemary is a long one, thus when you read it like this: "Ava Rosemary" the length of both names totally complement each other. :) It sounds very pretty!
Reply:Quite the opposite! A longer classic like Rosemary is the *perfect* compliment to short, sweet Ava. Just a really nice balance. Lovely. ;)
Reply:No way! With short names like Ava and Mia (my daughters name) longer middle names sound better. Especilly three sylables.

My daughter is Mia Cassidy.

Reply:It flows nicely.

Its definately not too much. I like following a simple name with a longer name and vice versa.
Reply:I agree with Ava Rose but having a short name followed by a long one is nice so either one is beautiful.
Reply:No at all. It's unexpected ( in a good way) and flows really well. Ava Rosemary is stunning.
Reply:no that works well i think Rosemary would be to much to follow a longer name but Ava is simple so it works beautifully!
Reply:No, with a short simple first name a long middle name with equal it up.

Ava Rosemary sounds great.

Reply:I think it works well. IMO, Ava Rose would be even better, but that's just me. :) lol Rebecca Louise! beat me to it!
Reply:NAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Reply:I love that name! It balances out with a long name and a short name.
Reply:Isn;t Rosemary the name of the woman who gave birth to a devil child?
Reply:I think it's a beautiful name.
Reply:I really like it but agree with the others Ave Rose is stunning
Reply:None at all. Nice choice.
